It opens up opportunities of social engagement to support and make contact with:

– An interested audience and the general public
– At risk youth & communities, the young and “hip” target group
Street Talk is the annual faith based HipHop Conference for Aotearoa NZ started in 2015
MISSION
Street Talk seeks to a build and support a national and international network of creatives involved in hip hop culture and positively influencing our youth, community and the wider Hip-Hop Community.
To build a ‘pass it on’ culture within the creative art forms of the Hip hop Culture, through up skilling, educating and giving opportunities and a platform for Hip-Hop artists, youth and communities to express themselves through workshops, events and also being a base to support and to resource the next generations to come.
To Engage, Establish, Equipt and Empower the next generation in areas of creative arts, leadership and identity.
FOCUS
To create opportunities for New Zealand Hip-Hop artists to connect and share the message of peace, love and unity through the Hiphop Arts. (Music, DJing, Emceeing, Beatbox, Graffiti Art, Bboy, Bgirl, Popping and street dance etc)
