Street Talk Magazine - Issue 2
STREET TALK ISSUE TWO
50 copies available in this first print run. Signed, numbered and printed locally.
Street Talk is an independent hip-hop and street culture publication documenting the voices, histories, and creative legacies of Aotearoa and beyond.
Each issue weaves together intergenerational stories across the core elements of hip-hop, including Emcee, DJ, B-boy/B-girl, Graffiti, and more.
Through long-form interviews, archival material, and photography, Street Talk captures personal narratives from pioneering figures and contemporary practitioners alike.
Founded by Auckland-based creative producer Diana Hu, the publication preserves voices, memories, and histories that are rarely recorded in mainstream media.
The publication aims to help preserve the whakapapa of hip-hop in Aotearoa while connecting it to the wider global movement.
