KRUMP 101
Presented by LH Combine x Street Talk

Following the success of Breaking 101, Street Talk has partnered with LH Combine to create Krump 101.
Krump 101 is a four-week foundational programme introducing the raw power, culture and discipline of krump.

Delivered by south Auckland locals Ken Vaega, Ennoalla Paea and Trenten Omeri, this course provides direct access to world-class artists who are not only highly regarded in Aotearoa, but respected on the international stage.

With over four decades of dance and community involvement between them, our tutors are experienced industry dancers who regularly teach, judge and represent New Zealand globally. Their strong reputation, combined with krump’s deep roots in South Auckland, makes this programme both culturally relevant and aspirational.

Krump 101 is about more than movement. It’s about expression, discipline, confidence and identity. Participants will learn important foundations, battle etiquette, freestyle development and the cultural origins of krump — building both technical skill and personal presence in a supportive environment.

Dates: Every Thursday in March 2026
Time: 4-6pm (4-5pm workshop, 5-6pm open jam with 1-on-1 support)
Duration: 4 weeks
Location: Clendon Basketball Courts

This free programme is funded by Auckland Council's 'Out and About'
