Avondale Street Sessions
Street Talk returns to Avondale with another edition of Avondale Street Sessions, bringing together street dancers and community for an afternoon of raw street dance battles, all part of a wider event alongside live grafitti art, local art makers stalls and live DJs.
This edition features 1v1 battles in three core funk and hip-hop styles — Breaking, Popping and Locking!
Up for grabs is $1,800 in prize money across 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Battle Categories
• 1v1 Breaking
• 1v1 Popping
• 1v1 Locking
After the individual battles, the top four dancers from each category will be selected to form mixed-style crews, each consisting of one breaker, one popper and one locker to battle in the semi-finals.
